A new type of spam

Inviting people to be friends on Facebook may be a reasonable thing to do, if you do actually know somebody who is already on Facebook.

This email arrived from a person I have never heard of,
on a meetings site that I have never heard of,
inviting (me) to say how (I) know that person,
and inviting (me) to be a friend of that person,
and saying that there are already messages for (me) on that site.

And it wasn't even addressed to me. It was addressed to the email address that I use on my website. So it was inviting my website to be a friend!

No doubt I can expect a few thousand more of these. :(
