Would you drink this?
I'm not sure if I already posted this photo from Prague.
Absinth with a giant beetle floating in it.

Did you buy it? Or just take the picture in a shop? At 70% alcohol , I'm sure the contents are sterile, but you couldn't get me drinking it.

Here's their sales pitch:
Each bottle of Absinthe Beetle contains giant beetle Eurycantha horrida also known as Spiny Devil Walkingstick. Its magic shape without a doubt expresses the product's mystery.
The mystery to me is who came up with the idea? Is it a traditional recipe, or something created for tourists?

Just took a photo (aboriginalhostel is holding the bottle). I'll try almost anything, but I probably wouldn't drink that :D

Awesome, yes. Pretty wild stuff about rotten cheese, bull´s testicles and homemade scandinavian liquor. Also good reasoning why it´s stupid to ban things people want to put into their body.

I'll check it out...

I just remembered another interesting drink - habu awamori from Okinawa.
("habu" is a type of poisonous snake, and "awamori" is the local distilled sake ~30% to 60% alcohol)
