Host Co-op in Rio de Janeiro

Hello !

I am interested in starting a Co-op hostel in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and hope to open it sometime in early 2013. I want to open before the World Cup and since Rio is one of the host cities I think it would be a great opportunity. I am looking for about 3 partners who can commit to spending time helping start and manage the hostel in the beginning years. Hopefully it would work out almost like a time share where we could each commit to spending a certain amount of months managing and living at the hostel and then be free to spend the remainder of the year wherever we would like. If you spoke Portuguese fluently that would also be great as I personally do not.

This will be a major project and my first undertaking of it's kind so all of the advice I can get about Rio, starting a hostel, etc. is greatly appreciated.

A partner would also need to have at least 25k in start up money, hopefully some hostel experience, and be willing to be flexible with plans. I am currently traveling through Costa Rica but will be in Brazil with the next two months scouting locations.
