Maybe some creative hostel managers could find a use for it: high tech doorbell, calling all active housekeepers back to the front desk, room service (for hotels), or even a creative way to get guests to do something like subscribe to an email newsletter by pushing a button in their private room. The high-tech novelty might encourage them to push it.
