I've noticed that there are very few hostels for sale on this site, and I can't find any other sites that have listings for hostel sales. There are 1000s of hostels in Europe, so there must be some turnover in ownership. The lack of hostels for sale surprises me. How do people buy hostels? Are the sales usually done privately? Or are there some websites that advertise hostels for sale? Can anyone tell me how they found the hostel that they currently own?

Hello, I would prefer to purchase a hostel in the Ukraine where I think there are a lot of opportunities, but I'm also interested in the 3 Baltic countries.

Ack! I apologize. I assumed the search feature within the "hostels for sale" page would narrow results for that page, not the entire site.

There is no one-stop shop to find all the hostels in Europe for sale. Its a grind to search through country by country, but thats the best way to do it. You are giving yourself the best chance to find a gem and not overpay. Many good deal throughout the Balkins.
