Hi all
I'm in the process of setting up a hostel in South Africa. I worked in advertising for a long time, so as a way to get my advertising out I designed a fold-up pocket map, with an accompanying interactive map. To cover the printing & distribution of 20,000 of them, I sold space on it to other hostels and tour operators.
It's been really well-received and it was very easy to sell the ad spaces. So I'll do another South African guide at the end of the year. But I'm wondering if I could do the same in other parts of the world. The idea is to do hostel guides for Spain, Portugal, UK, Germany, etc; perhaps the US and Australia - about 10 or 20 in all, and make a small profit on each.
But, I need to find partners willing to be involved in sales and distribution. Is there anyone out there who wants to make a bit of money as a sideline?

Hope so too! It's not really the sort of thing that needs investment, because the advertisers paid upfront. It just needs someone who's good at sales & wants to work while traveling.
