Event Coordinator

Is there anyone familiar with the event coordination or planning an event in hostel?
May be it will be on marketing field, but i just curious about that field (event coordinator) :)

I got some questions about that.
1. The Standard Operational Procedure of event coordination for event coordinator (or is there any name for that kind of field??), is there anyone who can show me how it looks like??
2. Event check list, how it will look like?
