Greetings from the Jombo Hostel (Stockholm)
You see the thing in the moment you walk out of the terminal. It didn´t look far, so I decided against the shuttle bus and walked. It turned out it´s in the other side of a highway, so it took some detours to get there.
I arrived at 2 pm, just in time to see a nice sunset.
This is my room:
A "family room" (for a small family of small people!)

May look quiet and peaceful, but it isn´t. You see the runway from the rooms on the other side. Quite a noisy hostel...

Too much. SEK 350, that´s around 32 Euros. It wasn´t noisy at all during the night, BTW. The beds are fantastic. I slept like a baby.

There´s a cockpit suite. Unfortunately I couldn´t make pictures - it´s occupied by a french couple. They´re just not checking out - I wonder what they do up there! :D
More pictures:
The "heating system". The little thing is tricky to handle, it over-heats the small room in no time. Another disadvantage: electricity in the room doesn´t work if you don´t put your keycard into the plug. So you can´t leave the heating on while you´re away.
No need for engines:
(you see the tower of Arlanda airport in the background)
No shoes inside allowed. I counted 15 pairs of shoes yesterday evening - apparently that was the number of passengers and crew.

The french have finished now. :D
Here is Sweden´s most shagged-on bed:
Lots of nooks and crannies in there, I hope the cleaning staff are well paid.

There´s no cleaning staff. The morning receptionist cleaned the rooms. And checked out guests. And checked reservations. And served breakfast. And served drinks to guests (it´s a public café as well, there are many people stopping by for a coffee, just to have a look at the place). And had to deal with a Brazilian TV crew who interviewed her and filmed in the place. She looked a bit desperate sometimes, but handled the stress very well.
The afternoon & evening shifts must be pretty boring though. Most guests are people who check in late and go straight to bed because they have an early morning flight.
