***HOSTEL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY SOUGHT***

Hi guys,

I am a 30yo guy from the UK looking to make an investment and with it a complete lifestyle change. Tired of the 9-5 mon-fri routine and looking to do more travelling I see an investment in a hostel with an investment partner(s) the best way to go.

My travel / backpacking / hostel experience is limited but in addition to cash, I offer my complete dedication, honesty, integrity and hard work ethic to make any investment succeed.

I would only ask these things of any potential investment partner(s) in return and anyone with previous knowledge / skills / experience of hostels would have an advantage. I have no preference as to where we would be located so long as its warm!

In a nutshell I would like to share the workload, risk and responsibilites in order to have more freedom to travel whilst maximising the full potential of the cash investment.

Only reliable like minded people need reply.

Hi David,

I don't know if you are still looking for investment/partner opportunities but I thought I'd drop you a line anyway.

I am a 29 years old guy from the UK, I have been working in hostels for the past 8 years throughout Europe and have for the past few specialised in setting up new hostels for people. I have grown tired of constantly bringing other people's businesses into profit with little gain for myself.

I speak Portuguese, Spanish, French and a little Bulgarian and Italian, am highly skilled with computers and most importantly have made a success of every hostel business that I've been responsisble for.

Maybe it was not clear

It has 5 dorms totaling 23 or more Beds

Also there is room for expansion, so interested buyers need to visit the hostel

Hello David,

Still looking to invest in a hostel?! I have been looking during the last 2 years the market growning and it might be that we have the same idea! But I was looking to put a hostel in Barcelona though. I have quite long expierence with hostel and tourism during the last 10 years, mostly managing medium size hostels (up to 70/80 beds). Now I have some of the amount necesary to open a hostel, it might be even the whole amount, but I am looking to partner up to get through all of this with some help. Well. if you are interested, let me know!

Hi,
I'm in search for a Hostel or B&B business, to buy or in partnership. My name is Roger Gamboa and I would like to open a hostel possibly in Asia, South America, Australia or New Zealand, but I'm open to other countries. I have been travelling all my life and it's now time to start a new adventure and I have some money to invest. I'm just looking for a person in same position that want to start a new project, is laid back and have some money to invest.. more or less AUD $50K..

Hey Gang! I'm Timothy and I am a 34 year old Yank who's partial to the West Coast of the USA. So grateful to have discovered this site!

My life's purpose changed the first day I set foot on "foreign" soil. For the longest time I had been discouraged from venturing out of confines of my country's borders. But traveling helped me realize that we all are one people sharing the same earth. It helped me understand that freedom can be ours to claim, and that anyone who has the ability to travel and chooses to remain idle is living a limited life. Through the intimate guidance of my hosteling experiences I learned that cultural immersion and community service foster a sense of responsibility and belonging in ourselves and our fellow man. The hosteling world has introduced me to a means of humble travel and simple living, both reinforcing a set of values that are based upon memories rather than material good.

After co-managing a hostel for a month in Banos, Ecuador in November of 2012 I was convinced: I now seek to apply my 15+ years experience in the field of hospitality and event production to the dream of one day operating my own hostel in partnership with the right people.

So now I am in the beginning stages of thinking about opening up a hostel and the biggest inquiry I have is in regards to WHERE?! I've got great ideas I want to implement if I can only open the doors! LOCATION means SO much in regards to running a successful business of this kind. Ideas?!

Another significant goal of mine here is to hopefully find a couple of individuals of like-mind and spirit who might have interest in potentially partnering on this endeavor together. Ideally the plan is to eventually rotate management/operational duties 3 months at a time (3 months on, 3 months off, twice a year...) so that we each still have 6 months a year of freedom by which to continue traveling this beautiful planet. So what do ya think? Who wants to start dialoging??? Lets do this!

Hello!

One of my favorite aspects of hostels is the self-reliant nature of the experience, and of the travelers. I value self-reliance, and in accordance with that value, I seek to learn about permaculture. I also value community, and I believe that if people relied more heavily on themselves and supported their local communities, we could find more freedom, and greater "thrivability". I have a desire to start an eco-hostel that supports self-reliance, fosters community, and provides interactive education on permaculture, with a permaculturally designed backyard farm. I have chosen Austin, TX as the location, and with 2mil visitors per year, and rapidly rising popularity, as well as a growing urban farming community, I think it's a pretty sure-fire bet. Unfortunately, the real estate has exceeded my means, and I would love to find someone(s) who see the potential in this venture, both for success, as well as for personal fulfillment.
