Hostel in South West France - My Dream

I am looking to open a hostel in the SW corner of France - close to Biarritz if possible. I have some money to invest and aim to invest 100% of my time and that of my partner in running the operation. What I lack is the infrastructure - notably a building, in which to establish this operation and turn a dream into reality. I would be happy to run jointly with another independent individual or operate as a manager and junior partner to an already well established major international backpacking organisation, [eg. YHA, Global Backpackers, Nomads, Koalas {in Oz}], adding my skills and money to their building, infrastructure, marketing and operational processes.

- I'm a corporate business man and finance manager [knowledge of business, commerce, accounting, finance, IT and customer service].
- My partner is a qualified tour guide in this part of the world, and is fluent in French, Spanish, Portuguese, English and the local language of Basque.
The local area has an abundance of interesting and diverse pursuits for the independent traveller including:
- surfing, sailing, diving,
- quad biking, horse riding, cycling
- canoeing, kyaking,
- trekking,
- wine tours
- museums, aquariums, galleries
- castles, cathedrals and ancient monuments, plus
- the pyrenees on your doorstep [skiing and snowboarding in winter].

It is truly a superb opportunity which I do not have the resources to do all by myself but I would be happy to work with another [or others] to make this happen. All the better if a local French or Basque native with the land and building ready to go :-)
