Can any one recommend some software to keep track of our keydeposits? E.g. how many keys given out, how many returned, how much money in the till, etc.

Are you looking for a system that just handles key deposits or a system that does other things that ALSO has a key deposit feature?
Are your key deposits kept in the same till as the rest of the money? We keep ours separate. If yours could be separated as well, then you could use a simple spreadsheet with the guest's name, which key they have, amount of the deposit, etc. A Sum formula will tally up how much should be there. This probably isn't ideal if you need anything more than a simple count, but it could be fine if you just need to organize your deposits for ease of use.
