Hi, thanks for reading.
I'm looking to start up a new hostel and need to find like-minded people who want to join me!
I have been living in Myanmar, working in a newly-opened hostel for the last 18 months, but now I'm moving on to my next project. I am currently based in South-East Asia but am also interested in Europe and Central and South America. I'm open to many suggestions and am just looking for the perfect place. I already have a good amount of capital ready for investment.
I would also be happy to partner up in an existing business that needs extra investment and another pair of hands.
Please let me know if you have any good ideas or are looking to partner up in any way.

Since the surfing industry develop in several places in indonesia, the surfing lifestyle itself also blending with the local surfer of sumatra island, specially mentawai, an archipelago located on the west side of sumatra. Every year according to the authority of padang airport, there are approximately around 4000 until 5000 surfer visit mentawai islands for the surf trip every year, all of them at least must spent 1 night in padang city before they leave to mentawai islands due to the lack of public transportation that serve people for crossing the strait between main land sumatra and mentawai island. This condition makes padang city need more available rooms for them, not mentioning the backpackers and local tourist that also visit west sumatra for many reason.
I am planning to make sumatra guest house as an unique guest house made from bamboo, cause until now there is no accommodation in padang city that offer "back to nature concept" that I want to apply. I am optimist if we offer something different from the others, the guest will have something more valuable experience from their visit, and according to my previous experience, most of them become repeater and spreading words of mouth about it.
