Florian's Guesthouse recently expanded by opening a new hostel, Florian's Backpackers, in the centre of the city of Shkoder. After a month of work on the hostel, it is now fully equipped and operational. The hostel has 20 dorm beds and a private room for 2, kitchen and living area, and full cooking, laundry and bathroom facilities. It is located in the heart of the city yet has a peaceful, villa atmosphere and even its own vegetable garden from which FLorian's family source food for the hostel guests. Due to growing interest the owner, Florian, of both Florian's Gueshouse and Florian's Backpackers, is looking for a partner to take control of managing this new hostel. The new manager will be expected to both maintain the state of the hostel as well as undergo promotion and marketing. Florian expects the manager to work with a reasonable degree of independence, so some experience in hostel management and promotion will be useful. The rate of pay will be arranged between the applicant and Florian, and will be based on the profits of the Backpackers hostel, as opposed to a fixed wage. This encourages the applicant towards developing a successful hostel as the earnings of the applicant will rise and fall in direct relation to the general takings of the hostel.
