Hi guys, I live in Rio de Janeiro, am Canadian and have travelled the world in hostels, speak fluent Portuguese, Spanish and native English.
I would like to hear more about your plans, IS this nearly 300,000 EU for a hostel that is already up and running.
Where is it, what is included, what the occupancy rate, and turnover?

We´ve been studying rates, break even point and turnover numbers, and happens that so far we haven´t benn sure if we are moving forward. We were about to buy one, but they had problems of licence, maybe unsolvable.. their numbers were a shame, as well.

Mercado Livre website knows! I found some out there, and the prices are quiet fare. There is the "bestbunkbeds" or something like this from UK, the prices are also good, and buying in quantity and shipping it will still worth for the quality they provide.
But the best is Mercado Livre, the brazilian ebay, and you will find a lot of companies making advertising there.
