all the licenses related to tourism (hostels.hotels,B&B,guesthouses) have been closed in Barcelona since 2 years, and it doesn't look like they are going to reopen them anytime soon under this mayor.

Currenlty, I am in negotiations for a property right in the center of the city. More details will be given on signing an NDA.
Investor must be able to invest €150,000. Forecasts and business plan estimate a return of the initial investment after around 12 months.

@Graffiti The building I am negotiabting with, already has a touristic licence, so according to the landlord this shouldn't be a problem.

Do you know, that there is a moratorium on touristic licenses in Barcelona untill 2019 and if you will buy a property only (i.e. not a company that owns a property with an already existing licence) you will have to re-apply for a touristic licence? Just take it into account before buying something and consult with lawyers. Good luck!
