Hi everyone, the hostel I work for is using google docs spreadsheet as a booking calender. We realize we are waaaaaay behind the times and wondering about good and affordable PMS software for smaller hostels. We mainly are going to use it as a faster/ more user friendly booking calender. Thanks!

There are a lot of Property Management Systems out there that could work for you.

Here is a LONG discussion that mentions a ton of them.

Here is a shorter list of some of the systems that I hear about the most. This is by no means exhaustive and it does not represent an endorsement of any kind. Depending on your budget, one of these would surely work to upgrade beyond a Google Docs spreadsheet.
