Im thinking about getting MyAllocator since i have worked with it a bit before.
Is it really so that you can use them as a booking engine directly onto my hotels website?
I mean so that it just dosent send my guest to a site like booking.com or someplace where comission is taken.
Anything bad about MyAllocator that I dont know of more that that it sometimes can be a bit slow to update?

Sorry if i made you angry, as you obviously seem to take my postings as offense.
I was only trying to give some technical advice about myallocator integration like it was asked for by the thread opener gogodoll.
It wasn't intended to be an insult and i won't answer to your questions again. Promised!

Certainly no offense taken and I'm sorry if my response was blunt (a common flaw of mine). I just want to be sure everyone understands that there are definite risks if you opt to go without SSL. Coming from a Financial Institution IT background, I can't tell you how much it worries me to see many of you without even the most basic protections. Here is an example link to one of my places using bookNow: http://www.kamaainainn.com/. All you need is a standard SSL Cert (I bought mine from godaddy).
To answer Brian's question earlier: Yes, it doesn't matter what embeded booking engine you are using, you still have to purchase SSL for that page if it is hosted by you. If it is hosted by your vendor (ie: you leave your site and go to theirs to complete the booking) the vendor must set up SSL for that page. If they don't RUN!!! lol
