Does anyone know of online booking software that can be used as a hostel's main booking system and that automatically feeds availability through to all the main online booking services such as hostelworld, hostelbookers, gomio, HI, etc? Updating availability on all these sites makes being on them all impossible for us. We have been able to use the Scottish YHA system up to know, which automatically fed through to HI and hostelbookers, but they don't want affiliates using their system anymore.
Can any other systmes do this? If it doesn't already exist, is there anyone out there interested in developing one?

Yeah we have a nice website booking solution that integrates with a Reception Component that in turn manages allocations to Hi Hostels, Hostelworld, HostelBookers and more.

I have the perfect system!
PMS is Loventis - It was FREE! it is very easy to use and gives basic financial reports
I attached MyAllocator channel manager to it and it is fully integrated with 15 booking agents. All bookings come directly to Myallocator and it in turn sends all the details to Loventis. ( The bell rings when booking arrives)
Myallocator looks after all my availability, prices,and best of all sends the information seamlessly to all the booking agents.
I really do not understand why all Hostels do not use this set-up!! I did not believe it would work at first - IT IS BRILLIANT!
I only pay 12 Euros per month! -If anyone needs or wants help I'll be happy to oblige.
I am sorry for boasting about this but I am really so delighted I feel Hostels need to know that such a system exists and works with ALL booking agents

Hi All,
It's been a while since some people have posted in this forum. I am just wondering has anybody else used Loventis or is it just you Downloads? I am also wondering what %commission do they take on each booking or do you just actually pay a €12 fee monthly?
I'd also like to hear your thoughts on and or experiences with paid search (search engine marketing) to promote your hostels? Has anyone ever tried to compete with HW on this?

All bookings are free from commission with both Loventis and Myallocator. You simply pay a small
monthly fee of £10.00. Loventis is free to use unless you have big number of rooms then it is a small fee also.
This is a "NO BRAINER" for any hostel owner who manually changes the bookings of rooms from the booking agents.
If you feel its too much work just contact
and they for a small fee will do all the work and help maximise your other hostel revenues. They are a sort of "Hostel Fixers". Many owners have used this service and have written glowing testimonials about their input.
