Or let's just talk about the two sides of the Channel... How many French call the English as their cousins, instead of "frogs" vs. "pudding heads"? The English language contains a lot of French, German and Latin words by historical connections.

You can play the same games with Edinburgh and Glasgow, Sydney or Melbourne, Bavaria or Saxonia... or just your town against the village next door. Just take a look at family relations: Our family is better then uncle John's, because of any kind of BS reasons. How can we prove that if we didn't live with them?

This is why traveling is so important, it opens our eyes much wider. And this is why rednecks stay home instead, because they couldn't accept that the Earth isn't flat...
