Looking to open a hostel, havent really decided on where, I am very open to ideas. I have been all over Asia, Europe, Central america, parts of africa, etc and am looking to open a hostel somewhere interesting preferably close to some sort of water *ie beach but not a necessity. Looking to start with an investment of around $50,000 possibly more looking for partner with same. Want to have a laid back chill place in a far away interesting country.... Thinking of possibly getting a boat also to do fishing or scuba diving?? throw some ideas at me looking for interested like minded people, looking to do this in the immediate future, in Africa, south america, possibly asia but I am open to all ideas. I want to do this because I love to travel and love going to cool offbeat hostels and feel this could lead to more hostels and travelling. So really anyone motivated hit me up lets make something happen.

Hello there! At the moment I am working in special effects in Rio carnival and meanwhile i am putting one of my properties in Brazil on sale. Unfortunately I am from the country side and there aren't many tourists in this part of town. I am researching were there would be tourism the whole year round. What is the situation of Nicaragua? I have allot of innovating ideas that will make a hostel have a unique touch! Maybe we can put our forces together and make this work! let me know a little bit more about your plans... what do you mean by elsewhere?

Hello there! I lived abroad most of my life as well! I just came back to my home country Brazil and have noticed how its financial state is changing so abruptly for better. Right now I am doing some work in Rio carnival and am brainstorming some ideas for a hostel. Let me know if you have any intention on opening a hostel/ bar in Brazil. I am also opened for other places in South America but for now I may say that Brazil is a good option.

Tourism in Nicaragua is exploding. It is the most affordable place to open a business and not yet overrun with development. We are looking for a guesthouse or hostel that can also have a lively music/art bar attached. I'm mainly focused on Nicaragua, since I have friends and musicians from my bar in California to assist me there.
I'm a veteran chef/bar owner, so i'm hands on on all positions if need be. Nicaragua is going to see a major boost from surfers this year due to it's great coastline. It's towns are relatively safe and the word is out. There's only one McDonald's in the whole country, so those nasty corporations aren't on it's heels yet!
I just returned from SE Asia and decided not to go in business there. I'll be in Nicaragua this spring to begin this project. Let's talk

I am currently looking into the possibilities of opening a hostel In Brazil around the North-East coast, within or around Fortaleza.
The tourism is starting to grow well there and so is the economy. The next couple of years I will be flying down there to resource the area and opportunities further. I am also looking for a partner, in the matter, to share the cost of this project along with sharing the time to manage it so one can still travel around some month or more out of the year.
I have local contact down there who knows the specific and has first hand experiences with getting the licenses needed to make this work. You should be willing and able to throw 35.000 dollars into this.
35.000 dollars will get you a lot in Brazil so think what 70.000 will do.
If you are interested send me a PM for more details. You are also more then welcome to post further detail on this subject for others to get involve in.
Note: This is still a couple of years in progress.

Hello Morty!
I am in Rio doing some work and by the end of May I will be free to go around and make some research myself.
When are you planning on coming to Brazil? How many partners are you looking for? What identity u wish the hostel to have?
I have never been to Fortaleza so all I know is that there is allot of social difference (which is a negative side)but the positive side is that there is tourism the whole year round because the beaches, the weather and people are great!
My sister works in the economy sector and i will hunt and gather information's before I do anything as well.
70.000 is ok and if its needed a bit more i have no problem with that!
if you are interested add me on skype / rafaella.bclemente
I prefer speaking and looking at people mainly regarding this subject.
all the best,
Rafaella bc
