We are planning to build a hostel in the Philippines! Looking for serious investors/business partners

Hey, my name is Dan and my partner is Jelena.

Our short story is that we have both been on and off travelling for the last 6 years. We have a lot of experience between us managing businesses and I have worked in hostels as a receptionist in a 210 and 400 bed hostel in Barcelona, volunteered at many, and also been the manager of 3 small hostels in Barcelona.

We are both social media gururs or addicts some may call it! We love digital marketing. Jelena loves the hands on cooking recipes, desiging and creating art and I love the front house engagement with people, also managing and leading a team who provide awesome customer experience.

We are currently in Port Barton located in Palawan, Philippines. We came to explore because my brother and his partners opened up a party hostel here and it was and is very successful. We have been living and networking here for 3 months now. The location is perfect for a medium size guesthouse with dorms and privates, probably more outside of the town and we can explain more to whomever is interested to talk more.

We have began a business plan, noted expenses and various potential earnings with different sizes of buildings and accommodation types, and have began looking for land to buy or lease. We understand the laws as much as we've had time to research. We lack experience with building and construction, so if the invested partner has experience here then all great.

We are ideally looking for an invester to match our investment so that we can build something really nice and have remainder savings to live from and have an emergancy fund.

With our calculations the investors will see return within the first operational year, and we have an expansion plan for the current property to increase earnings throughout.

Whatever we do we want the business to remain good vibes for backpackers and be clean, tidy, instagrammable and with a super fun atmosphere generated by the staff and volunteers.
