Partners needed to expand hostel chain in Ireland
I am currently looking for partners to expand my hostel chain in Ireland.
I currently have 3 hostels in Ireland namely Lagan backpackers in Belfast,
Finn McCools hostel at the Giants causeway and Portcamon house in Bushmills 2 miles from the most visited attractions in Northern Ireland.
Lagan backpackers has been operating for just over 3 and a half years and I recently upgraded to 60 beds and is one of the busiest hostels in Belfast it is listed on Hostelworld and hostelbookers
FinnMcCools I started last year in April as a 28 bed hostel. Because of its location I won the Best hostel in Northern Ireland award at the hoscars (hostelworld award ceremony) this. This should help a lot with bookings this year as the winner Northern Ireland widget on the listing would defiantly assure backpackers to book. Despite being small in numbers it is cost affective as it shares staff with portcamon. Listed on hostelworld and hostelbookers
Portcamon house was a guest house located in Bushmills. This is a stunning property that was rated at 4.7 out of 5 on hotels.com etc etc. I am converting the guest house into a 42 bed hostel. There is only one review on the site. The review is very low because I advertised it as a hostel and when the guests showed up it was still a guest house. Hence no atmosphere so a low rating. But this hostel I have amazingly high hopes for as the location is perfect for scores of walk ins(not to mention the bookings I have from hostelworld and hostelbookers for when it reopens on the first of April. This hostel will also become a very highly rated hostel. Listed on hostelworld
I want to expand in a manner where my hostels will fill each other up. And also buy a bus that will do giants causeway tours from Belfast but with 15 seats a day set aside for free transport between my hostels. This way I open up beds in lagan when it is fully booked(like 9 days already in March. Opening up beds by shifting people to our other hostels while making a profit on a very popular tour seems like the best way forward.
Apart from the above I want to expand to Dublin as soon as possible. As Dublin is the busiest tourist city in Ireland there will be a great number of guests that will frequent more than one hostel in our chain with the right advertising. And Galway is also on the cards for expansion as a very highly visited city.
There is currently a hostel to lease in Dublin. With a great location. It is a very highly regarded hostel that closed down and is perfect for our needs.
In Galway I found a hotel that is up for lease. With enough space for about 100 beds and a liquor licence. Industrial kitchen and dining room this place I perfect for a great hostel. Live Irish music nightly and the opportunity to make an income from a restaurant and pizzeria.
The investment I am looking for is £400 000. Because I don’t want to deal with hundreds of shareholders I am selling shares in Clever Ventures plc at £1000 per shared. Like I said 400 shares are available at the moment out of 900. As I am bringing my three hostels to the table that will turnover between £350000 to £400 000 pounds this year and the fact that I work 18 hours a day 7 days a week(I don’t even have a house anymore I stay in the hostels as I never go home, never date or have a social live) I feel having 500 shares is not asking to much.
