Script- booking table for reservation

Hello everyone,

We're a young Hostel in Santiago -Traveller's Place Hostel- with two 'L'.
Our issued is two find a script that we could integrate to our website to managed our own reservation through our website.
But we need to personalized it a little bit because of the Chilean tax that vary and other.
If you had the same problem or if you have it currently thank you for your advice.

Hi Adrien, Welcome to the site!

Several of the booking sites offer a booking engine that you can use on your website to take reservations. I don't think that they can be personalized for taxes any more than the booking site itself can though.

The Hostel Office PMS also has this feature. I'm sure that several other Property Management Systems do too.

I don't know of a standalone script or system that does this, but I would be very interested to find one. If anyone else knows of one, please post a link!

Hi Brian,
Thank you for your help.
I'm still looking for it today an i didn't found any script that we can personalized but one that cost only 16 USD and that you can use as your own afterward on your website.
If i find the "saint graal" i keep you informed!

I just saw that MyAllocator also offers a booking applet for your website. I don't know if you can personalize this one for your taxes either, but they follow this forum so we can ask them.

Hi Adrien,

this is Mo from myallocator.com. Our booking applet can be customized in style, and depending on what you need we can manually code in more stuff. We have some customers that use us only for the booking app, as we don't take any commission, just the 10 GBP per month flat fee. I should add that we do not take any direct payment, although it is possible to take credit card information (you can charge with your own system).

Your system seems to fit with what we need.
I have two/three questions:

-Can it be linked to HostelSystem so the reservation are atomatically entered in the system(and avoid a reservation for twice the same room)?

-Can we link your booking reservation to paypall on which the payment is done ?
(the script could as well be linked to pay pal to avoid doing twice the same reservation but it would be better linked with Hostelsystem because this latest also knows reservation from other agencies)

Could you give me a link to see how it works?

Hi Adrien,

HostelSystem have integrated with us, although I'm not quite sure if they have enabled it for all customers yet or if they are still trialling it. You better ask them directly.

Regarding PayPal, this will be something to look at next. If it is feasible we'll add it towards the end of Q1 2013.

In the future would it be possible to charge a prepayment when the guests book through your applet?

If the system would charge the guest and send the money directly to my account I would happily use My Allocator instead of the Hostelworld booking engine on my website.

Dear Luliana,

we haven't looked at how difficult that would be so far, but if it's possible to setup without going through our accounts then we would happily do this. We'll look at this feature at the beginning of next year.
