Also, anyone know of profit sharing or bonus plans for management?
I've heard of some nice bonus plans before. I'm not sure what it was based on (occupancy, or profits).
Hey this is my first time posting here. It has been good to read through the archives. I didn't see anything that could help me budget for the staff costs. What is a good general manager wage, cleaner, receptionist, (do we pay night reception different?), assistent manager wages? I know that throughout the world wages are different but just something to go on. There are websites that help me figure out differences in standard of living.
Thanks.

All right fellows, I guess we shouldn't really complain... as long as we enjoy our work and make enough to save... any other numbers are relative.
There's the burger measurement, which is based on how many burgers can you buy from your monthly salary... my counter is 287. How about yours? Is a burger cheap or expensive in your country?
Let's make money in Norway and live in Thailand, we all gonna be millionaires! :D

Ok in mc Chickens I would say like 500 but Big Macs...not so many! LOL:p
Mc Donald´s is expensive for the Argentine salary...in fact it´s considered as a kid treat: "If you behave we go to the movbvies and then to Mc Donald´s!"
In the states, going to mc donald´s is the cheapest way to grab a bite without getting off your car...
So you understand the difference...

I don´t consider anything as a true "drive in" as long as you have to leave your car to pee.

klaus - you still have to get of the car. im thinking something along the lines of homers ultimate lazy man chair - a recliner with built in toilet... but for a car! or if you just need to pee, dont pretend you've never peed into a bottle whilst driving before!
kapake - australia is pretty militant on drinking driving, but being able to order beer without having to leave your car (they even put it in the boot/trunk for you!) is truly a thing of beauty.
