New hostel in Oslo by the summer - and we want you on the team!
Business Partners
My name is Viktor, and together with few of my friends, we are looking to start a hostel in Oslo, the capital of Norway. To make this happen, we would like to strengthen our team with a few more members! This is where you come in!
It will be a hostel well over 150 beds, with a social factor to the project, seeking to make it a meeting ground for people who are new in town. We will combine the hostel with a cultural café, small concerts, debates and open mic nights.
Last winter me and a friend had a pre-start-up project, that lasted for five weeks. We wanted to gain some experience, collect some data, and understand how visitors to Oslo thought of hostels. The project was a great success and we had a solid surplus. Now, one year later, we have worked hard and saved up money, to boot strap the hostel. I am currently enrolled in an entrepreneurship masters program at UiO, and are also working with the idea through my studies.
What we are seeking is both an investor who sees the potential in the project and the team, but also a possible team member, who are hard working, creative and intelligent. We are already an international group of peers, both from Norway, Mexico and Germany - any nationality would be welcome.
While we wish to start the hostel in march/april, we are looking already for opportunities to expand to other cities in Norway, where we have a solid network of young professionals. Since we are seeking to expand within a short time, we are scaling the organization to make it happen in a lean and smooth operation.

Id be delighted to discuss with you more in details about your project.
I am 34, and a former team manager in contact centre of some large organisations who one day got bitten by the travel bug. Since then i have been travelling a couple of times around the world and today I realise that I want to stay and grow in this environment, but become a host rather than a guest.
My plan is to run my own hostel or piggyback an existing team, with the idea to invest both time and money. I like your idea to make this place a bit more meaningful than a simple drinking and party hostel.
