But don´t worry. Brazil is such a strage world of its own, if you travel it there are so many things boggling your mind that you won´t even notice how your toast is made! :D

It is a weird place!

• There are hundreds (maybe even thousands) of TV stations, but they all show the same programme all the time: shaking female asses.
• Every other shop is either a beauty parlor or the church of a wacky sect.
• Food in restaurant buffets is sold by the kilo.
• On the other side, every a la carte item always consists exclusively of a combination of chicken, beans, rice and a weird white powder.
• Despite the vast majority of the pupulation is very poor, I have been told that more than half of the world´s boob jobs are done in Brazil. Might be an urban legend though.

And we always thought toast is cheap shit, unworthy to be offered to our guests! :D

But when you think of it, most of Austria´s traditional dishes are made of cheap shit as well. When those dishes were invented, most of the country was dirt poor, so people had to make tasty food out of everything... literally.

How much I prefer Brazil´s traditional cuisine over that!

Some guests love it. They even said to me the other day "it's the perfect restaurant, I choose whatever I want to eat and I just pay for what I put in the plate". Here in Buzios we have at least 3 kilo fancy buffets with amazing food. I have lunch in one of them everyday.

Hm. Compared to flatrate buffets, comida a kilo is clearly a bad invention for people with a huge appetite. Like me!

It's delicious with rice and/or beans and in the Northeast, people have it with every sort of meal including breakfast (which even for me is kind of weird).

That's true. Despite the majority of the population is poor, Brazil is huge and so is its population. So we can be the biggest in anything that's trendy here. And bodies are really exposed here, so everyone thinks they have to be tanned, muscly and pretty.

And we also have samba, caipirinha, beautiful beaches and very nice people. :cool:

Samba: I´m German, we don´t dance. Well, some do, but they usually make fools of themselves. Especially in Brazil!

Caipirinha: I have more use for that! :D
