Talking with the staff we decided that we can provide with no extra costs some toasts (that we will make in the oven during the night shift with the left overs from the bread rolls from the previous morning,
No no. Toast, as I have always eaten it, is made at the time, so that it is fresh and hot. It's OK if the bread used is left-overs. If this is not convenient for you to do, then don't bother with toast at all.
I once stayed at a hostel where they made about 50 slices of toast (with the cheap kind of sliced bread) and left them spread out on a table for many minutes. Stone cold. Hideous!
