Thanks for inquiring. The software isn't finished yet, that's why you can't look inside :( We're still in the prelaunch phase. So, at the moment we're taking prelaunch signups that come with a big discounted price for joining early on, and that's why we're asking to commit with a payment. my company is going to open a hostel with 600-800 beds. We thought about the "protel" software because of the high number of beds.
Does anybody has experiences with this software?

Not entirely sure why you are investigating using a HOTEL based PMS for your HOSTEL?
GuestCentrix is perfectly tailored to the Hostel industry, with the ability of having beds, dorms, private rooms all configured correctly, and using gender management - something hotel based systems probably do not offer you.

Hi Craig,
thanks for your help. I didn't thought about the romms with more than 2 beds. Hence the Hotel-Software wouldn't be able to use for it. My problem was the hugh number of beds. Many softwares are just for maximum 350 beds.. I looked at your homepage, your product sounds very good and applicable for our hostel. The hostel-industry is new for us and I was very happy as I found this page here. It gives a lot of recommendations, ideas, advantages and disadvantages of the different products ...
So now I will inform my chefs and then I think I will contact you again with more detail with hope you can help me ;)

Hello Sid,

We have never been contacted by you and it is a pity as we created reports for Italian hostels couple years ago.
I am not sure if we cover all the aspects because something might have changed in the meantime but they were specifically created to

Hi Sid,
thanks for sharing. I found this post very helpful. I have been running a small hostel in Italy for 4 years and have been doing everyting by hand i.e. receipts, and keeping a record of customers on an excel spreadsheet, then I would have to import imformation manually to create all the reports for the varius authorities (provincia ect...).
Anyway, we are now expanding (from 25 to circa 60 beds) and I know we just won't be able to cope with the old system. So I am trying to find (just like everyone else!) the right software.
Since you also have to deal with the Italian beurocracy, and are familiar with fiscal procedures over here, would you be able to give me some advice?

Hi There
I use MyAllocator and Loventis for most of my Hostels. It is very simple,It allows all booking agents and the PMS (Loventis) to work seamlessly together
The big plus is the cost! Its a pittance every month.
I have used it in Hostels all over the world all various sizes from small to massive!
