Hi,
I worked in hostels for many years and realized that there weren't many resources for people who run hostels or who want to open a hostel. I hope that you enjoy the site and find it useful. If you have any suggestions on how to make the site better, please let me know. My goal is to create a resource that will promote hostels and hostelling, especially in places where hostelling is not as common (e.g., here in the USA). Post in this section to introduce yourself to the other forum users.

Hello,My name is Patrick and I have 3 1/2 yrs work experience in Hostels. I have traveled through western Europe and North America. Hi ppl! I'm Riccardo, italian, living in london and soon moving to portugal for my first managing experience. I've been working and travelling in hostels for year and i'm think i'm ready for the big step. The hostel isn't opened yet, i'll crack the locks in two weeks and i'll post something on the hostel dir.

Hi there, I have been lurking here for a while, but decided its time to pipe up. I run a hostel in Scotland and I have been living and working in hostels for a good 10 years now, so I hope I can contribute something. I have definitely enjoyed reading others' experiences, and particularly enjoy the fact that we all seem to encounter the same issues..I hope I can help with some answers too...

yes i did!!! :D I'm so busy trying to give a shape to the hostel organizing pretty much everything from scratch. I'll post a nice presentation as soon as possible!
