Hi,
I worked in hostels for many years and realized that there weren't many resources for people who run hostels or who want to open a hostel. I hope that you enjoy the site and find it useful. If you have any suggestions on how to make the site better, please let me know. My goal is to create a resource that will promote hostels and hostelling, especially in places where hostelling is not as common (e.g., here in the USA). Post in this section to introduce yourself to the other forum users.

Hi all,
I finally decided to take the time and register and introduce myself. I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and hopefully will be opening a new hostel here in a few months. Fingers crossed :D

We are happy to join this site and we are sure it will be useful for everybody. We represent Penthouse Hotel & Hostel in Yerevan, Armenia. It's been about 3 months that we opened our Hostel. Hi, my name is Bruno, im from Uruguay. Im planning to open a hostel in my town, a very busy seaside resort. The problem is there´s not a soul for 9 months but its get really crowded in summer. In order to gain some experience i worked in a hostel this summer and learn and I learned a lot, sometimes what not to do.
This is a really great site and I have found a lot of valuable info, but I belive I still have a long way to go!
